**Job Description: INVENTORY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the day-to-day management of inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely stock replenishment
- Barcode and label products for identification and tracking purposes
- Conduct regular stocktaking and inventory audits to verify quantities and identify discrepancies
- Organise and arrange stock in the warehouse or storage areas, ensuring easy accessibility and efficient use of space
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Monitor stock levels and alert management about low stock, excess stock, or slow-moving inventory
- Assist in the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality control
- Update and maintain inventory records in the system, ensuring data accuracy
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline processes and improve inventory management efficiency
- Perform periodic reviews and checks of inventory to identify and resolve issues related to stock loss, damage, or theft, etc

**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma and above
- Prior experience in inventory management, stocktaking, or warehouse operations is advantageous
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and organisation
- Good physical stamina for handling and moving stock when required
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of barcoding systems and inventory control processes
