Senior Mill Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Mill Manager in the overall planning, coordination, and supervision of mill operations to ensure optimal performance and productivity.Monitor and control processing efficiency to minimize oil and kernel losses within acceptable limits.Ensure that the production of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and palm kernel consistently meets the established quality specifications and customer requirements.Implement and monitor a preventive maintenance system to ensure plant reliability and minimize downtime to below 2.5% of total processing hours.Ensure strict adherence to all relevant management systems, including ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (EMS), OHSAS 18001, and MSPO standards.Supervise, train, and motivate operational staff to achieve high performance and maintain a safe working environment.Assist in the preparation of operational reports, performance analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support the Mill Manager in ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations and company policies. JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Possess 1st Grade Steam Engineer Certificate (mandatory).Strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues effectively.Good communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and disciplined work attitude.
