The Assistant Manager, Business Development will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth by identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic partnerships and managing key accounts within the B2B sector.

You will play an important role to:

  • Identify, research, and target potential B2B clients and new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, or acquisition targets that align with company objectives
  • Track, analyze, and report on partner revenue, and other KPIs, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key B2B accounts, building strong, long-term relationships at various levels.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to gain a deep understanding of clients' strategic goals, business challenges, and technology landscapes.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches that highlight the value and ROI of company's solutions.
  • Lead negotiations, including commercial terms and contractual agreements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscapes within the targeted B2B industry in Malaysia.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in B2B business development, partner engagement, key account management, with a strong focus on selling to Banks, and Financial Institutions is highly advantageous
  • Good command of English, proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken is a key advantage
  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales cycles, enterprise solutions, or partnership models in the Malaysian financial ecosystem.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
