Job Description

  • Evaluate & assess credit applications in accordance with the bank's policies & guidelines
  • To perform verification on the application including document completeness, data accuracy, etc.
  • To ensure applications are processed with agreed turnaround time.
  • Identify risks and opportunities associated with each loan application.
  • Provide recommendations on loan approvals and renewals based on your analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth processing of loans.
  • Stay updated with changes in industry trends and regulations related to credit analysis.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
  • Attend to any ad-hoc activities assigned

Job Requirements

  • Must possess at least bachelor's degree, preferably in banking, finance, accounting, business administration.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome. Application for Manager's position, candidate with at least 2 years' experience in Mortgage Credit Underwriting is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Work effectively as a team to achieve department's objective Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Candidates with Chartered Banker (CB ) would have added advantage.
