Responsibilities

  • Assist the department in overall QS operation (BQ & material, tendering & cost analysis, certifications & V.O., drawings & consultant coordination and construction & commercial admin)
  • Project operations management within define resources and budget which includes material planning, site inspection, manpower allocation and sub-contractor management
  • To ensure compliance on Standard Operating Procedures and accountable for safety, effectiveness and efficiency of the department
  • To liaise with QS and Project Sales department on progressive claims, rectifications etc.
  • Plans, directs and coordinates Plant Operations on daily basis.
  • Spearhead the development of operational targets and the right strategies to strive for continuous improvement that reflect in the aspects of quality, time and cost.
  • Set up and revise standard operating processes.
  • Prepare regular budgets, exercise prudent cost management and expenses update.
  • Formulate short-term and mid-term plans to fulfill goals set by Management.
  • Provide regular and timely reports to Management.

Job Requirements :

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration / Management, Quantity Survey or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in building material / construction field.
  • Highly analytical, ability to multi-task and with strong organization and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of processes required for developing and monitoring strategic plans.
  • Possess high level of independence, integrity, self-motivation, result oriented and the drive to excel.
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin (will be added advantage)
  • Preferably candidate who has experience in site management
