Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and price negotiation with suppliers.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems.
  • Assist in the allocation of inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Monitor inventory levels and help coordinate the replenishment of stock as needed.
  • Organize logistics arrangements for the delivery of goods, ensuring efficient transportation and timely arrival.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination between procurement, warehouse, and logistics operations.
  • Monitor and control the progress of orders, ensuring delivery dates are met, and goods are received according to the agreed terms and conditions.
  • Maintain close communication with suppliers to track and update the status of orders and shipments.
  • Update, review and verify purchase invoices for accuracy.
  • Assist in sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that they meet company requirements and standards.
  • Assist with any ad-hoc procurement or logistics tasks as assigned, supporting various business operations as needed.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in the related field.
  • Preferably, candidates should specialize in Purchasing, Inventory, Material & Warehouse Management, or equivalent fields, with logistics knowledge/experience.
  • Required languages: Mandarin, English, and Malay (both spoken and written) due to business communication, documentation, operations, and reporting needs.
