About the role

The incumbent will be responsible to perform hands on and timely preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections as well as documentations of the process equipment/instruments/machinery, etc. Activities include electrical maintenance, water filtration checks, power-saving initiatives, inventory management, safety and compliance, vendor liaison, and user trainings. This role requires a strong commitment towards service quality and safety in a Research & Development Center based environment.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Perform inspection for equipment and building facility according to the Yearly PM checklist & smoothen the process without affecting the key stakeholder performance.
• Maintenance & Replacement of electrical parts/electrical jobs/ light modifications
• Maintenance & Replacement of water filter/take reading of micro siemens to ensure the stability of chamber water
• Execute planned activities to reduce power consumption/cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare preventive maintenance (PM) planner and carry out PM as per schedule with inclusion and exclusion of new assets in the premises.
• Guide and update users on the Maintenance Request Form (MRF) process within the stipulated guidance timeline.
• Immediate response for breakdown/repair requests based on MRF tickets
• Involve in brainstorming activities to minimize breakdown time with the end user.
• Maintain equipment operation through responsive troubleshooting, repairs and following operations guidelines
• Handling hardware tools and power equipment to perform routine jobs as per the Engineering department guidance.
• Identify inventory required for process equipment & main the stock values again the allotted budget and track utilisation
• Ensure compliance towards safety procedures. Work with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Committee as well as General Admin on Facility Management
• Support in installation and commissioning of process equipment/instruments/machinery, etc
• Liaise with external agencies/vendors for online or physical services support / routine checks
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management

About you

• Diploma or SKM In Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering or related.
• Min 2 to 3 years' of related working experience in Process Equipment or have skill in troubleshoot Equipment. such as SKM certificate be considered .
• Hands on experience on process equipment maintenance and trouble shooting
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including but not limited to a cleanroom environment and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Able to work overtime, on shift across weekends and public holidays
• Willing to work at Shah alam, Selangor.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
