JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To fully responsible to bill of material (BOM) management of all products.
  • Active communication to relevant parties on BOM changes/ updates.
  • To ensure data accuracy in ERP system.
  • To propose developing customized design and cost estimation for all products.
  • To generate and distribute engineering information document for each production job (products drawings, BOM specifications, production templates, installation instructions and parts manuals).
  • To provide engineering support and advice on production as and when required (e.g.: mechanical installation troubleshooting and other technical support).
  • General engineering record keeping and updating.
  • Propose and execute necessary improvement and cost savings to improve productivity, profitability, and design function.

  • Liaison with principal:

  • New drawings and job process flow management.

  • Design and material updates.
  • Operating and service manual, parts manual.
  • Instruction manual or installation instruction.
  • To advise material, components, and qualified vendors for parts purchases for quality and cost effectiveness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering, or automotive engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years in manufacturing plant with similar role.
  • Experienced in BOM creation and maintenance in ERP system.
  • Ability to perform analysis and calculation of material figures and mechanical properties.
  • Meticulous and able to work under fast-paced work environment.
