Our client "MEIA Group Sdn Bhd" is seeking a Power BI Developer to join their team

Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Join a dynamic team where you'll play a crucial role in developing and supporting reporting tools and dashboards across the Mammoth Group. This exciting opportunity allows you to consolidate data from multiple business units and systems, providing clear, actionable insights to support decision-making in various areas including procurement, inventory, finance, compliance, and product strategy.

What you'll be doing?
  • Design and Develop: Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models that support operational visibility, executive reporting, and cross-company metrics.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product, finance, sales, and operations teams to scope and prioritize reporting needs.
  • Data Integration: Connect and transform data from diverse sources, including MYOB Exo, other ERP Systems, CRM, spreadsheets, logistics software, and production records.
  • Advanced Analytics: Develop DAX measures and Power Query (M) transformations to create reusable, high-performance models.
  • Data Governance: Implement best practices, including documentation, lineage tracking, and version control for all BI assets.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a reporting register and actively monitor report reliability and data integrity across the business.
  • Reporting Support: Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including inventory rollups, sales trends, and freight performance analysis.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Provide Power BI training and support for internal teams, promoting adoption and self-service capability where appropriate.
Who are they looking for?
  • Power BI Expert: You have 5+ years of Power BI development experience, including strong DAX and Power Query skills.
  • Data Modeling Pro: You're competent in data modeling and relational database design principles.
  • SQL Savvy: You possess strong SQL capabilities and understand database structures.
  • ERP Integration Experience: You have experience integrating data from ERP or inventory systems (e.g., MYOB Advanced, Pronto, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a proactive approach to identifying inconsistencies and improving data quality.
  • Effective Communicator: You can translate technical concepts for non-technical users with ease.
  • Industry Knowledge: Bonus points for background in manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory-heavy industries.
  • Additional Skills: Familiarity with freight tracking platforms, CRM tools, or compliance reporting is a plus.
  • Multi-Entity Experience: Experience working across multi-entity or group business structures is valuable.
  • Business Acumen: An understanding of operational and commercial KPIs used in product-based businesses is beneficial.
