You will play an important role in:

  • Receive and review digital files from clients or designers. Examine files for errors, inconsistencies, and formatting issues. Correct and optimize files for print production, including adjustments to color profiles, resolution, and layout.
  • Utilize graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to manipulate images, create layouts, and enhance graphics. Ensure that designs are print-ready and meet client specifications.
  • Calibrate and maintain color profiles to achieve accurate color reproduction throughout the printing process. Monitor and ensure color consistency to meet client expectations.
  • Generate and evaluate proofs, both digital and physical, to confirm design accuracy, color fidelity, and overall quality. Collaborate with clients and design teams to address any necessary revisions.
  • Verify that fonts are correctly embedded in digital files and oversee image editing and enhancement to meet printing requirements.
  • Convert digital files into the necessary format for specific printing presses or methods, adapting to different file format requirements.
  • Implement comprehensive pre-flight checks on digital files to identify and resolve potential printing problems, such as missing fonts, low-resolution images, or incorrect color settings.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to schedule and prioritize print jobs. Ensure that all necessary materials, including plates, films, and files, are readily available for printing as needed.
  • Work closely with customer and internal teams to clarify design requirements, provide updates on project status, and address design-related inquiries.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, pre-press technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, especially Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design skills and print-related projects.
  • Knowledge of various printing methods and pre-press techniques.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Able to work rotation shift
  • Fluent in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin will be an added advantage.
