About the Role
We're looking for a
Quantitative Strategy Analyst
to join our growing DeriW team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is perfect for a
high-potential, analytical individual
who enjoys solving problems with data, algorithms, and logic.
You'll work closely with the quant and trading teams to research, build, and refine trading strategies; turning mathematical insights into real-world performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for
fresh graduates or early-career talents
with strong quantitative skills, programming ability, and an eagerness to learn about blockchain, crypto markets, and algorithmic trading.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research on
machine learning algorithms
to support trading strategy and risk control. - Design, test, and optimize
quantitative trading models
using financial and market data. - Monitor and analyze
real-time trading data
to assess performance and identify improvements. - Collaborate with developers and traders to enhance strategy execution and model deployment.
- Contribute to
ad-hoc research projects
including data collection, market insights, and system testing.
What We're Looking For
- Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields. - Technical Skills:
Proficient in
Python
and familiar with data analysis tools and methods. - Languages:
Strong command of
both Chinese and English
for cross-regional collaboration. - Mindset:
Analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious — with a proactive approach to learning. - Availability:
Able to support urgent trading or data-related tasks when required.
