Airport Hotel Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Operations

· Managing day-to-day operations of the hotel across Front Office, Housekeeping, Lounge and Kitchen across all hotels based in KLIA T1 and T2.

· Analyse and improve workflows to maximize productivity and minimize waste. Ensure all facilities and amenities are well-maintained and meet standards.

· Work with the rest of the management team in creating and executing SOP's, training, marketing and sales and marketing initiatives.

· Managing inventory of consumables in all departments and ensure that stocks are replenished on time and wastages are at the level set.

· Monitoring guest feedback (reviews, complaints) and implementing strategies for service recovery to enhance the overall guest experience across all OTA and online platforms.

· Ensure the hotel complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.

Administration

· Plan and conduct inventory checks and balancing – working with other departments under the Operations scope to keep track of losses, breakages and monitor the replenishment triggers.

· Finalize and sign off on purchase requisitions made by the teams ensuring that all purchases made are within budget.

· Planning and finalizing work schedules that is sufficient to run operations.

· Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and help forecast revenue to meet business goals and ensure profitability.

HR

· Leading, motivating, recruiting, training, and developing hotel staff and department heads, including setting performance standards and conducting reviews.

· Fostering effective communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure a seamless workflow

To Qualify

· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.

· The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years in the same or higher role in a hospitality establishment to be shortlisted.

· Familiarity with industry software and systems, such as hotel property management software (PMS) and revenue management software (RMS), is also beneficial.
