The opportunity

Teeni Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an exceptional Assistant Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for supporting the Key Account Manager and Head of sales in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients, ensuring their needs are met and their satisfaction is maximised.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with key accounts to achieve company goals.
  • Meet and exceed key sales objectives, including sales performance, trade spend, listing speed, and trade returns.
  • Work closely with brand and marketing teams to plan and execute customer promotions and category strategies, ensuring strong 4P (Price, Product, Place, Promotion) execution.
  • Develop and manage promotional plans, including trade budgets, product range, and space optimization.
  • Act as the main contact between retailers and internal teams, resolving issues and understanding customer needs while meeting company objectives.
  • Work with the field operations team to ensure excellent in-store execution.
  • Manage trade budgets, A&P, and daily sales operations, and provide updates or feedback when needed.
  • Conduct business reviews, product launch presentations, and evaluate pricing and promotions with customers.
  • Understand outlet sales operations, including merchandising and ordering processes.
  • Plan and execute concourse or event activities to boost brand visibility and sales.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, profitability, and category management.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience handling key accounts in the Beauty or FMCG industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge or experience in Modern Trade, Independent Pharmacy, or Wholesaler channels.
  • Proven record in sales management and meeting business objectives.
