- Support the implementation and enforcement of the company's IR policies and procedures.
- Handle employee disciplinary matters and grievances through a fair disciplinary approach, in line with company policies.
- Conduct investigation into alleged misconduct, including fact finding, interviews, documentation and report preparations for further action or Domestic Inquiry.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating Domestic Inquiry proceedings, including preparing documents, coordinating panel members and ensuring due process is followed including note taker during the Domestic Inquiry.
- Record and update disciplinary actions in employee profiles accurately and confidentiality for audit and reference purposes.
- Monitor employee attendance and punctuality and initiate appropriate disciplinary action for repeated tardiness or absenteeism.
- Coordinate and conduct briefings or training session for employees and line managers to ensure understanding of IR practices and Employee Handbook.
- Liaise with relevant government department such as Department of Labour and IR or other regulatory bodies on matters related to employment dispute or compliance.
- Support the administration of employee conflict of interest declarations, ensuring proper filing, tracking and follow up where necessary.
- Perform ad hoc duties or tasks as assigned by the superior/management as well from the holding company in Japan from time to time.
