About the role

The Assistant Operation Manager (Food & Beverages) plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the food and beverage division within NFARA S BIOTECHNOLOGY (M) SDN.BHD', located in Pokok Sena, Kedah. This full-time position is responsible for supporting the overall management of the F&B operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality.

What you'll be doing

  • Ensure smooth operation of all production and process activities.
  • Responsible for documentation and compliance related to GMP, HALAL, HACCP, JKKP, Audit, and NPRA processes.
  • Prepare production output plans and forecasts in alignment with company objectives.
  • Enhance quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Execute production runs and procurement activities on time, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including issuing purchase orders, managing production files, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production operations.
  • Prepare and maintain daily production and performance reports.
  • Lead corrective action and problem-solving activities to address production issues.
  • Collaborate with managers to define operational goals, improve technologies, and resolve challenges.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe, reliable, and efficient condition, focusing on long-term operational reliability.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology & Beverage Services Management, Business Administration, Management, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing or production operations, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong planning and production management abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and regulatory compliance requirements.
