Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Associate to support our regulatory, operational, and onboarding compliance functions. The ideal candidate is meticulous, organised, and eager to grow within a fast-paced and regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's compliance program in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Support KYC onboarding for individual and corporate clients, including document review and verification.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and transaction monitoring activities.
  • Escalate suspicious activities and assist in preparing STR/SAR reports when required.
  • Ensure internal policies, procedures, and controls are up-to-date and followed by all teams.
  • Assist in responding to regulatory queries, audits, and reporting obligations.
  • Maintain accurate and organised compliance records and documentation.
  • Support training initiatives to promote compliance awareness across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Support, and Product, to ensure compliance standards are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in compliance, risk, audit, or regulatory roles (experience in fintech/financial services/crypto is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of KYC, AML/CFT, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
