Tooling Technician

Responsibilities:

  1. Repair tooling facing part quality issues.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve online tooling issues.
  3. Perform preventive maintenance on tooling.
  4. Follow up on incomplete tooling repairs from the previous shift.
  5. Maintain 5S practices at the workplace.
  6. Ensure proper care and upkeep of all equipment in the Tooling Department.
  7. Report or highlight any equipment breakdowns or tooling problems to the Supervisor.
  8. Conduct monthly spare part stock counts.
  9. Complete and submit daily individual job reports to the Clerk or Supervisor.
  10. Fill in tooling repair completion reports and hand over to the Clerk or Supervisor.
  11. Perform alignment and assembly of tooling after modifications.
  12. Dismantle wooden boxes for newly arrived tooling.
  13. Carry out any other duties as instructed by the Department Head or Supervisor.
