A leading multinational electronics group is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to oversee purchasing, material control, supplier performance, and logistics planning. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and seamless material flow across production in high-mix electronics or EMS environments.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the full supply chain: procurement, planning, material control
  • Manage supplier selection, negotiation, delivery performance, and quality compliance
  • Develop and monitor purchasing strategies to meet production cost targets
  • Coordinate material readiness across new projects, mass production, and ECNs
  • Analyze supply trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels
  • Ensure 100% supplier and internal on-time delivery (OTD)
  • Drive sourcing improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, finance)
  • Maintain accuracy in ERP planning and purchasing master data
  • Support audit readiness and supply chain compliance (ISO9001 / IATF 16949)

Requirements:
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in electronics/EMS supply chain
  • Strong knowledge in material planning, purchasing, and supplier management
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, IFS, Oracle)
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Familiar with LMW, indirect/direct material sourcing, and cost tracking
  • Able to work in Johor Bahru / Kulai / Senai area
