About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our Japanese dining outlet. The ideal candidate has a deep appreciation for Japanese cuisine and culture, a strong sense of hospitality, and proven experience in managing restaurant operations to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow.
  • Maintain authentic Japanese dining standards in both food presentation and guest experience.
  • Manage and train service and kitchen teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure menu quality, portion control, and food cost targets are met.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier relations to ensure product freshness and availability.
  • Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally to ensure maximum satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze performance, and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a Japanese or Asian restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, culture, and dining etiquette.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English (Japanese language skills are an advantage).
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle peak business periods efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, budgeting, and cost control.
