Position: Account Assistant

Employment Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Location: Q Sentral, KL

JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

A. Function

  • To assist the Finance Manager.

B. Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping.
  • Ability to perform manual bookkeeping.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems (We are using UBS Accounting System).
  • Maintain and update bank record book for incoming and outgoing funds, including bank reconciliation.
  • Data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
  • Maintain proper filing of all accounting records.
  • Maintain invoice records and update payment status.
  • Prepare clients' statements of account.
  • Assist in preparing outgoing payments.
  • Assist in preparation of accounts for audit.
  • Assist in preparing self-billed e-invoices.
  • Assist in registering new employees with PERKESO and LHDN.
  • Assist in preparing EPF/SOCSO/PCB/HRD Corp monthly contributions.
  • Assist in preparing SST return schedules.
  • Assist in submission of tax clearance for employees.
  • Assist in preparing monthly payroll.
  • Assist in preparing tax computation for tax agent.
  • Liaise with the secretarial office for company filings.
  • Provide support to the Administrative Department when required.
