Job Description:

  • Oversee development, validation, and documentation of machining processes.
  • Lead technical reviews for RFQs and support cost estimations based on machining cycle times, tooling, setup, and process complexity.
  • Manage engineering activities for new customer programs, including feasibility analysis, DFM feedback, process planning, and First Article execution.
  • Set engineering priorities and allocate resources to support production, NPI projects, and customer requirements.
  • Lead and develop a team of manufacturing engineers, process engineers, and CNC programming specialists. Provide guidance to the team in troubleshooting complex machining issues and optimizing workflows.
  • Ensure machining processes are optimized for throughput, quality, tool life, and cost efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, improve cycle time, and enhance process capability through lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or contract manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading engineering teams or supervising technical personnel.
  • Strong expertise in CNC programming.
  • Experience with GD&T, complex tolerances, and machining of metals (aluminium, stainless steel etc.)
  • Proven success in process optimization, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
