Assistant Manager

Job Purpose:
The Assistant Manager – Sales is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and supporting the achievement of company sales targets within the logistics and supply chain sector. This role involves identifying customer needs, proposing logistics solutions, and ensuring service excellence to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and other logistics services.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service terms in line with company policies.
- Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing, and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and forecasts using CRM systems or internal tools.
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Assist in training and mentoring sales executives or coordinators when required.
