Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PHP Backend Developer to join our core

technical team. This role will primarily focus on the maintenance and optimization of our live,

core iGaming products, ensuring their 24/7 stability, security, and high-performance

operation.

Key Responsibilities

● System Stability: Perform daily maintenance of the company's core iGaming

backend systems; rapidly respond to, identify, and resolve technical issues and bugs

in the live production environment.

● Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze

system performance, identify and resolve potential bottlenecks, optimize database

queries, and improve API response times and system throughput.

● Code Quality & Refactoring: Based on a solid understanding of existing business

logic, participate in code refactoring to improve code structure, enhancing system

maintainability, readability, and scalability.

● Security Maintenance: Monitor system security, track vulnerabilities in third-party

components, and apply necessary security hardening and patches to protect the

platform and user data.

● Feature Iteration & Support: Implement minor feature iterations, adjustments, and

improvements based on feedback and requirements from business units, and provide

necessary technical support to other teams.

● Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation related to system

maintenance, emergency response plans, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications & Requirements

● 3+ years of experience in PHP backend development, with hands-on experience

maintaining large-scale online products.

● Must be proficient in Mandarin.

● Proficient in the PHP language with a deep understanding of its runtime

mechanisms.

● Skilled in at least one major PHP framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) with the ability

to quickly understand and work with existing codebases.

● Expertise in MySQL, with excellent SQL scripting and optimization skills, capable of

handling complex queries and performance issues with large datasets.

● Familiar with common caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and their

application in high-performance systems.

● Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles with extensive experience in

API maintenance and debugging.

● Proficient in using Git for version control and team collaboration.

● Excellent online troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a logical mindset

and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

● Strong sense of responsibility, a meticulous work ethic, and a focus on code quality

and system stability.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points)

● Experience in the iGaming, online entertainment, sports betting, or related industries

is a major plus.

● Experience in developing or maintaining high-concurrency, high-availability, and

high-load systems is highly desirable.

● Familiarity with the Linux OS and configuration/performance tuning of web servers

like Nginx/Apache.

● Knowledge of persistent memory frameworks like Swoole or Workerman.

● Familiarity with log analysis and monitoring systems such as ELK Stack,

Prometheus, or Grafana.

● Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies
