Senior Manager, Financial Reporting

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate monthly Group Consolidated Financial Statements.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports for statutory announcements to Bursa Malaysia.
  • Review and finalise audited financial statements for DNeX Group.
  • Participate in the preparation and review of the DNeX Annual Report.
  • Prepare the Annual Operating Plan and other ad hoc management reports as required.
  • Analyse and review financial statements and overall business performance.
  • Plan and manage the annual audit timeline in coordination with external auditors.
  • Review tax schedules and liaise with tax agents on annual corporate income tax matters.
  • Review bi-monthly SST reports for submission to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
  • Manage the annual filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies or variances in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all financial entries are accurate, up to date, and compliant with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
  • Responsible for the collection, maintenance, and integrity of financial data.
  • Liaise with solicitors, bankers, company secretaries, and other professionals to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualification
    :

Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. Having finance professional certification such as ACCA, MICPA, MIA,CPA is an added advantage
- Required skill(s)
:

Proficient with Microsoft Office (in particular to Excel and Power Point) and accounting software. Well verse in Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and Bursa Requirements
- Key quality(s)
:

Team player, able to work independently while liaising with colleagues across business units and countries within the group. Analytical with strong organizational abilities, strategic thinking, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to details and ability to prioritize, result oriented and good presentation skills
- Required language(s)
:

Excellent in English language both in speaking and writing is mandatory with a good command in Malay
- Desired experience/exposure:

Minimum 15 years of experience specializing in Accounting and Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent. Experience in handling group consolidation of accounts and Taxation. Preference in Big 4 audit firm with minimum 5 years' experience
