Sales Advisor

Job Description:
Attend to walk-in and online customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable Toyota models.
Provide detailed product explanation, including vehicle features, specifications, pricing, promotions, and financing options.
Arrange test drives, explain safety features, and highlight Toyota's unique selling points.
Follow up with prospects through calls, WhatsApp, and emails to close sales.
Prepare and submit sales orders, booking forms, loan applications, insurance quotations, and all required documentation.
Coordinate with bank representatives for loan approvals and ensure timely processing.
Work closely with the admins to ensure smooth pre-delivery inspection (PDI), registration, and plate number arrangement.
Ensure that all customer information and documents are collected accurately.
Schedule vehicle delivery dates with customers and internal teams.
Conduct full vehicle handover briefing: features, warranty, service schedule, and Toyota apps.
Ensure customers sign all delivery documents and receive all accessories, gifts, and documents.
Conduct post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
Encourage customers to return for periodic maintenance and participate in Toyota surveys.
Handle basic customer inquiries after delivery and direct them to service department when required.
Participate in roadshows, exhibitions, showroom events, and external sales activities.
Source for new prospects through networking, referrals, social media, and community engagement.
Promote Toyota campaigns, monthly promotions, and new model launches.
Maintain active presence on social media to generate leads.
Update daily sales tracker, prospect list, and follow-up activities.
Achieve individual sales target set by management.
Provide weekly and monthly sales reports.
Ensure compliance with UMW Toyota policies, SOPs, and brand standards.
Attend Toyota product training, model updates, and sales technique training.
Stay updated on competitor models, pricing, and market trends.
Job Requirements:
Minimum SPM qualification; Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is an added advantage.
1-2 years of sales experience in automotive or related industries preferred.
Fresh graduates with strong interest in automotive sales are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to explain vehicle features, specifications, and financing options clearly.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, DMS system, WhatsApp/online platforms).
Able to generate leads via social media and online marketing.
High level of self-motivation and results-driven personality.
Professional appearance and grooming (representing Toyota brand standards).
Positive attitude, disciplined, and customer-focused.
Strong problem-solving skills and able to handle customer objections.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Possess a valid driving license (Class D).
Own transport to commute to showroom, roadshows, and customer locations.
Willing to work on weekends and public holidays (with off-days based on roster).
Ability to attend Toyota product training and dealership briefings.
