Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Building

  • Identify and contact potential clients through cold calls, field visits, networking events, online prospecting, and referrals.
  • Present and explain advertising opportunities, packages, and media solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Presentation & Negotiation

  • Conduct market research to understand client objectives, challenges, and advertising requirements.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and presentations based on insights gathered.
  • Explain pricing structures and negotiate deals to secure successful sales conversions.

Campaign Coordination

  • Work closely with the production team to ensure advertising materials are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with the media team to brainstorm campaign ideas, placements, and creative concepts that match client goals.

Account Management

  • Manage clients' accounts professionally, ensuring their needs are met throughout the campaign period.
  • Monitor campaign performance and maintain regular follow-ups with clients.
  • Resolve issues proactively and ensure smooth execution of campaigns.

Business Development & Growth

  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to meet potential clients and strengthen the company's presence.
  • Participate in internal training—continuously improving sales, communication, and negotiation skills.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Sales / Business Development, preferably in advertising, media, marketing, or related industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to build rapport and handle negotiations professionally.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings.
  • Comfortable with cold-calling, field work, and meeting new people.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience working in advertising agencies, media companies, or digital marketing.
  • Familiar with basic marketing concepts and campaign planning.
  • Able to brainstorm creative ideas and understand client objectives clearly.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
