Job Description
  • Oversee the full spectrum of finance department including financial and management reporting of the Group of including controlling functions in treasury, accounting, budget forecast, cash-flow management, foreign exchange, tax and audit activities to achieve overall Corporate mission and vision.
  • Ensure that all financial and accounting reports are in accordance with the Malaysian General Accepted Accounting principles including relevant Tax authorities, Central Bank regulations and etc.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial and management report corresponding to corporate reporting requirements.
  • Ensure the financial processes and systems are effective to enable the preparation of reasonably accurate financial statement and driving process improvement.
  • Formulate short and long-term financial goals to include financial planning, financial forecasting, financial modeling, assess the Group financial viability of potential projects, merger and acquisition due diligence/acquisition valuation analysis.
  • Lead financial reviews with Exco and present new business plans, including financial models and budget, to seek their approval.
  • Collaborate with Exco members to develop the group's financial strategy.
  • Analyze and improve the data accuracy with IT manager.
  • Review all formal finance and IT related procedures, processes, and administration, recommending improvements to the existing systems and managing the ongoing systems.
  • Ensure a successful implementation and running of ERP system including periodic review of needs to customize reporting and enhancement of work processes.
Job Requirement
  • Provide advice on financial matters in relation to performance, corporate governance and commercial issues.
  • Manage a strong and sound budgetary control of cash-flow to ensure the Group stays ahead of its financial position and ensure success and profitability of the Group.
  • Liaise with company secretary, auditor, tax consultant, lawyer and banker for all finance/treasury matters in the Group.
  • Must be a Chartered Accountant/ Certified Public Accountant/ Certified Management Accountant or equivalent and member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
  • Good knowledge in management skills, problem solving and Accounting Standards (IFRS, MFRS).
  • Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin Language.
