We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Site Costing & Procurement Executive (Quantity Surveyor)
to join our team at
DNA Urban Development
. This role offers a good balance between quantity surveying work and hands-on site costing and procurement responsibilities.

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying in construction industry
  • Good understanding of construction processes, materials, and site operations
  • Good coordination, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Must be able to communicate in
    Chinese
    , as you'll liaise with suppliers from China
  • Experience in using AutoCount Accounting is an advantage

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update project cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
  • Conduct site costing, tracking labor, material, and subcontractor costs on a daily/weekly basis
  • Monitor actual vs. planned costs and provide regular cost reports to management
  • Evaluate and select suppliers and subcontractors, considering both cost and quality to ensure value for money
  • Source, compare, and negotiate with suppliers, making informed decisions on material and service selection
  • Assist in budget control, cost analysis, and forecasting, highlighting opportunities for savings or efficiency
  • Coordinate closely with site and project teams to maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality
  • Assist in preparing progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures and project requirements

Salary:
RM4,500 – RM5,500 (depending on experience)
