Location: Bintulu, Sarawak

Position: Project Engineer, Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

  • Ensure all designs meet technical specifications, contractual standards, and client requirements.

  • Identify potential project sites and assess challenges such as geography, regulations, and existing infrastructure.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and oversee the construction/implementation phase to ensure adherence to plans.

  • Conduct necessary site inspections and manage the project handover process with clients.

  • Oversee the allocation and management of project resources, including workforce, equipment, and budget.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, technical advice, and addressing concerns.

  • Facilitate project meetings and briefings to ensure alignment among all stakeholders.

  • Maintain detailed project documentation (design drawings, site reports, installation records, test results).

  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports for clients, stakeholders, and senior management.

  • Ensure all systems are fully operational and meet client specifications before handover.

  • Address non-compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

  • Lead and manage a team of subordinates, delegating tasks and monitoring performance to achieve departmental KPIs.

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

  • Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the construction field, preferably in building construction.

  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is a distinct advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
