Job Description

  • Searching for marketable products category, market size, competitor & competitor's product specifications and other related information for future development.
  • Generate reports and insights to support decision-making and strategy development.
  • Select potential product category, specification, price structure, launching period and discussing with management and sales department to decide product development.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturer and/or Korea lab to check the possibility of development, set mutual agreement on developing new product.
  • Collaborate with related departments to manage overall develop process including sample testing (if needed), specification decision (printing material etc.), certification management (acquire & maintain), development schedule management.
  • Price setting: Set the price structurer (Tag/Market price) for each sales channel & product. Occasionally collaborate with related parties to adjust the price.
  • Product training: Prepare the training materials to train related parties to promote the sales.
  • Quality control: Collaborate with manufacturer and related parties to overcome if any quality issue occurs - include improve the product/process and take any necessary action.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising, product development or related field.
  • Proficiency in small appliance development (mechanical, electrical, related regulation etc.), schedule management.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
