General DutiesPerform high-quality imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols.Assist in supervising and training junior staff and new hires.Maintain consistent service standards, patient safety, and accurate results.Specific DutiesClinical & Technical ResponsibilitiesOperate imaging equipment including X-ray (DR/CR systems) and assist with CT Scan procedures.Perform patient verification including LMP checks and safety screening.Calculate appropriate exposure factors and practise ALARA principles.Ensure compliance with MOH, Radiation Protection Act, and AELB requirements.Conduct routine quality control (QC), calibration, and basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.Ensure proper utilisation and updating of RIS/PACS systems, image archiving, and reporting workflow.Departmental SupportAssist with stock inventory, consumables ordering, and daily stock level review.Prepare, print, and file imaging reports; ensure proper documentation for members/patients.Participate in monthly reporting including check-up analysis and disease monitoring data.Support the Imaging Manager in budget planning and departmental forecasting.Explain imaging procedures to patients, visitors, and wellness tour guests.Patient Care & WorkflowEnsure patients' physical and emotional comfort during imaging examinations.Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients, especially elderly or anxious individuals.Coordinate patient flow efficiently to minimise waiting time.Quality Assurance & SafetyParticipate actively in Quality Assurance (QA) activities and clinical audits.Report equipment malfunction and follow through with service provider arrangements.Maintain overall cleanliness, safety, and organisation of the Imaging Department.Uphold data confidentiality and proper handling of patient medical records.Other DutiesAssist Radiologist or senior staff whenever required.Perform other tasks assigned by the Imaging Manager or Senior Management.RequirementsQualificationsDiploma or Degree in Medical Imaging / Radiography from a recognised institution.Registered with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) or eligible to register.Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) preferred.Technical CompetenciesCompetent in general X-ray imaging.Experience in CT scan is highly advantageous (training will be provided for suitable candidates).Knowledge of RIS/PACS workflow, DR/CR digital imaging systems.Familiar with QA & QC procedures, equipment checks, and troubleshooting.Radiation Safety Training (RST) / AELB compliance is an advantage.ExperienceFresh graduates are welcome to apply.1–3 years' experience in diagnostic imaging is preferred.Senior roles available for candidates with >4 years' experience and CT/MRI exposure.Job Type: Full-timePay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per monthWork Location: In person
