About the role

Join RS CONTAINER LINE SDN BHD' as a Sales Executive and be part of a dynamic team selling our innovative container shipping solutions. This full-time position is based in our office in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, where you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our client base.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing new customers and generating new business opportunities.
  2. Actively seeking out sales leads to achieve targets.
  3. Collaborating with customers to provide logistics solutions.
  4. Prepare and present customized proposals, quotations, and logistics solutions based on client needs.
  5. Collaborate with internal operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction.
  6. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions.
  7. Conduct ongoing market research to identify new business opportunities and track competitor activity.

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record in a sales role, preferably within the logistics or container shipping industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  3. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Job Requirement

  1. Experience in logistics and freight forwarding is often preferred or required.
  2. A diploma or degree in a relevant field can be an asset.
  3. Strong sales and customer service skills are essential.
  4. Have own transport & willing to travel.
  5. Good communication skills and good working attitude
