We're hiring an Account Executive / Senior Account Executive to support our growing operations. This role involves managing full sets of accounts, handling daily accounting activities, and ensuring timely reporting and compliance. You'll also play a part in continuous improvement initiatives alongside a dedicated and professional team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage full set of accounts for multiple related companies within the group.
  2. Maintain and handle daily account transactions.
  3. Responsible for daily accounting operations and to ensure compliance with the Company policies and statutory requirements / guidelines.
  4. Responsible for the timely closing of the monthly account.
  5. Maintain efficient filing systems for audit and statutory requirements.
  6. Responsible for credit control, payments and sales reconciliation as well as assisting in any other accounting related works.
  7. Record, reconcile, and monitor intercompany transactions and balances.
  8. Responsible for any other ad-hoc reports and functions as and when assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

  1. Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Accounting/ Finance or professional accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA or CPA).
  2. At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience, preferably in the retail or F&B industry.
  3. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply and will be considered for junior role.
  4. Experience in using Excel Spreadsheet.
  5. Independent and able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Must be comfortable working in a group accounting environment.
  7. Good command in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  8. Responsible, Meticulous and possess a good working attitude.
