Job Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organises, controls and executes a production schedule for a designated product.
  • Develops production schedules based on actual and forecasted customer demand, product demand profiles and knowledge of the customer.
  • Analyses inputs (e.g., capacity, board cycle times, urgency of request, material availability, etc.) to help determine schedule
  • Analyses internal impact (e.g., line scheduling, procurement, logistics, shipping, etc.) of customer scheduling and provides a shipment plan to the customer
  • Revises plans as required based on analysis of actuals versus plan/ customer demand fluctuation, priority changes/ad hoc material situation
  • Participate and provide input in capacity planning
  • Coordinates shop order releases and materials kitting requirements.
  • Identifies parts shortages and works with appropriate people to expedite material/ kitting
  • Keep track of production output, pack plan and revenue commitment plan
  • Arrange and track shipments according to commit date to the customer and identify potential issues/problems, and work on solutions
  • Coordinate & follow up with various departments, eg production, SCM, engineering, quality, shipping, etc, to resolve operational issues & to ensure production schedule & shipment commitment is met
  • Able to drive production and processes to ensure key quality, output and efficiency are met
  • Communication window to the customer pertaining to all related issues from material readiness, production planning, to shipment commitment.
  • Candidate must be able to deal with customers and handle escalation matters
  • Candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-mix low volume EMS environment

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in any related field
  • At least 3~5 years of experience in the related field (preferably with EMS experience)
  • Preferably those with SAP or MRP experience & knowledge
  • Good in planning & communications skills
  • Preferred skills: Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Required language (s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
