About the role
Gruppe Lighting Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Design R&D Engineer to join our innovative team. This full-time position is based in Kota Kemuning, Selangor and will play a key role in driving the development and design of our cutting-edge lighting solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and developing new lighting products and systems to meet the evolving needs of our customers
- Conducting research and testing to optimise product performance, efficiency and sustainability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical, electronic and mechanical components
- Preparing detailed technical documentation and prototypes
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant safety, regulatory and industry standards
- Providing technical support and training to our sales and production teams
- Continuously exploring new technologies and innovative lighting solutions
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 1 years' experience in product design and development, preferably in the lighting industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering principles, including circuit design, power systems and control systems
- Proficient in using engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Photoshop
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively
- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest lighting technologies and design trends
