Role Overview
Responsible for driving sales of
Agroz's fresh produce
to
HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes)
,
distributor partners, export markets
. The role focuses on expanding our customer base, maintaining strong relationships, and achieving monthly revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
● Identify, approach, and onboard new HORECA, distributor, and export customers.
● Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat sales.
● Conduct regular product presentations, sampling sessions, and farm tours.
● Work closely with operations and logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
● Negotiate pricing, contracts, and volume commitments with customers.
● Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
● Prepare weekly sales forecasts and performance reports.
● Represent Agroz at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
Requirements
● Minimum 2 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in
F&B, fresh produce, or agriculture
.
● Strong network in the HORECA or food distribution sector.
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
● Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
● Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia.
Performance Metrics
● Monthly sales targets achieved (by revenue and volume).
● Number of new accounts onboarded.
● Customer retention and reorder rate.
Gross margin per customer segment.
