Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth daily operations of the restaurant floor by maintaining service standards, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent guest satisfaction. The Floor Supervisor acts as a link between management and service team, supporting in training, coordination, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the floor team to deliver professional, efficient, and courteous service.
  • Ensure all guests receive a positive dining experience through attentive service and problem resolution.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of the restaurant floor at all times.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in staff scheduling, briefing, and daily service planning.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for service staff to uphold company standards.
  • Monitor table turnover, reservations, and guest flow to optimise seating efficiency.
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and grooming standards.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication and order accuracy.
  • Perform end-of-day closing duties and prepare reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with attention to detail.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
