Position: Project Manager (Test and Automation Equipment)

This position supports our customers and internal teams in equipment design, build, and commissioning in Malaysia or other South-East Asia countries. A candidate with automation controls, PCBA FCT, and automation equipment experience is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

· Customer Engagement:

· Interact daily with internal and external customers to understand and interpret technical and operational requirements.

· Represent customer needs effectively within the company and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

· Project Execution:

· Own and manage full project lifecycle including schedule, cost, scope, resources, and risk.

· Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, logistics, and other teams to drive project milestones.

· Lead internal and external communications; present updates and findings to stakeholders.

· Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

· Review project deliverables regularly and initiate appropriate corrective actions as needed.

· Prepare and deliver detailed project status reports to both customers and management.

· Summarize material status, analyze KPIs, and provide actionable insights to drive project success.

· Qualification & Review:

· Facilitate phase reviews and define gating criteria including yield targets, test time/UPH, Cpk, DPPM, capacity, and material readiness.

· Lead on-site equipment qualifications at customer locations and issue daily or weekly reports.

· Travel:

· Willingness and flexibility to travel domestic and international customer sites for meetings, installations, and qualifications.

· Other Duties:

· Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

· years of experience in project management within an automation equipment company.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.  Willing to take ownership under pressure.

· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced technical environment.

· Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and MS Office Suite.
