About the role - (Contract Renewable)

The Banquet Crew is responsible for preparing, operating, and managing event functions such as seminars, meetings, dinners, weddings, and corporate events. Ensures smooth operations before, during, and after events in accordance with hotel standards.

1. Event Setup

  • Prepare banquet halls/venues according to floor plans (tables, chairs, stage, audio & visual).
  • Arrange banquet equipment including linen, cutlery, glassware, and decorations.
  • Ensure the event space is clean, tidy, and presentable before guests arrive.

2. Event Service

  • Greet guests with warm and professional hospitality.
  • Serve food and beverages according to event type (buffet / served meal).
  • Handle guest requests promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain food and beverage replenishment throughout the event.

3. Post-Event Operations

  • Clean and clear the event venue after the function ends.
  • Return equipment, linen, and service items to the designated storage area.
  • Report any damages, losses, or inventory shortages.

4. Safety & Hygiene

  • Practice proper food safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Ensure hotel cleanliness standards are consistently met.
  • Follow SOPs when handling AV equipment and hot equipment.

5. Teamwork & Communication

  • Work closely with Chefs, Kitchen Team, and Event Coordinators.
  • Attend daily event briefings with the Supervisor/Manager.
  • Provide suggestions to improve service quality when necessary.

Ad hoc Task

  • Any task that may be assigned later by superior

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum SPM or relevant experience in F&B/Hospitality is an advantage.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Punctual, disciplined, and positive attitude.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1, RM2,000.00 per month
