What you'll be doing?
  • Financial Management: Handle invoices, bills, receipts, and claims while preparing monthly reports and cash flow updates to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Project Financing: Plan cash flow and loan facilities, liaising with bankers on applications, disbursements, and approvals to support ongoing development projects.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Work closely with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities to ensure all statutory requirements and annual filings are met.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments, including HR, purchasing, and technical teams, to support internal operations and project success.
  • Client Account Management: Oversee billings, collections, and tenant accounts to maintain positive client relationships and financial stability.
Who are they looking for?
  • Property Development Experience: Candidates with a background in the property development industry to understand the unique financial aspects of real estate projects.
  • Educational Background: A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline to provide a solid foundation for the role.
  • Accounting Proficiency: Hands-on experience in full or partial set of accounts, with good attention to detail and knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting software such as SQL and AutoCount is advantageous but not required.
  • Independent Worker: Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mobility: Own transport and willingness to travel for banking, government, or property-related errands when necessary.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Malay and English to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and handle documentation.
