1. Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree holder
  • Good health condition and normal BMI for Petronas Medical Checkup requirement (we may request to perform medical checkup)
  • Able to work in confined space, non-claustrophobia, work in height and in hazardous environments
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in QA/QC environment performing inspection for surface preparation & internal pipe lining
  • Have a valid Certified Coating Inspector IMM or NACE or equivalent certification is an advantage
  • Able to read engineering drawings
  • Knowledge in basic measuring & inspection specification, reading and equipment
  • Able to use MS office applications ie : Microsoft Word,Excel,Outlook
  • Fluent speaking and writing in English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Able to work overtime (including weekend/public holiday)
  • Able to travel and outstation within Malaysia and Oversea
  • Professional and have a good work attitude and work discipline
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Keen to learn, multitask, can work under pressure and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Possess own transport

2.Job Description:

  1. Represents the company on all quality matters pertaining to the quality assurance program established within customer's requirement and/or in-house quality policies and procedures.
  2. Understand on client requirement and product quality.
  3. Ensure product and service meet with client's requirement and/or in-house quality standard.
  4. To do inspection on client item.
  5. To do in-process inspection and final inspections on products according to the tests inspection in the QA/QC process in workplace or customer site work.
  6. To do thorough inspection and record prior repair service.
  7. To conduct laboratory testing.
  8. To control management of the measuring and testing equipment.
  9. To control management of laboratory testing machine.
  10. Perform daily data collection, drawing, data entry, record.
  11. Prepare job report when require.
  12. Organize, supervise and schedule the inspection.
  13. Coordinate and cooperate with client for/during inspection.
  14. To report to Supervisor for any non-conformance.
  15. Co-ordinates and verifies all corrective actions arising from non-conformance, internal and external audits/ verification.
  16. Involve in ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 audit and client audit as well meeting.
  17. To perform any other adhoc duties given by Management.
