Piping Manager

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead piping engineering group and develop piping engineering design philosophies, design basis , specification and material selection.
  • Manage and plan piping design activities to meet client's specification within the agreed timeframe.
  • Review all piping design deliverables including MTO done by engineers/designers such as piping route studies, piping general arrangement drawings, pipe and special support drawings , Pipe stress analysis etc.
  • Develop methodologies, schedules and piping material take-off exercise.
  • Review technical evaluation reports prepared by engineers.
  • Review the impact on health, safety and the environment in the piping design

Requirements:

  • A recognized Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years' Piping design both in conceptual engineering, FEED and detailed engineering for onshore/offshore oil & gas Offsite facilities including bulk storage tank terminals
  • Familiar with international codes and standards such as API, ASME B31.3, ASTM, NFPA, NACE, DEPs, PTS, etc.
  • Knowledge in design software like 3D CADWorx, PDMS, Caesar ll, AutoPipe ,PipeNet
  • Exposure to EPC Site construction supports will be an advantage
