About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operation Planner to join the team at EXCEL FREIGHT MANAGEMENT SDN BHD, a leading logistics company. As an Operation Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's warehousing, storage and distribution operations. This full-time position is based in Senai Johor.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive operational plans to optimise the flow of goods and resources
  • Coordinating and scheduling transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to meet customer demands
  • Analysing data and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address logistical challenges and find innovative solutions
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to ensure the operations are running smoothly
  • Providing guidance and support to the operations team to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality service

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar Operation Planner or logistics planning role / fresh graduate are welcomed to apply
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimise operations and drive continuous improvement
  • Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred
