Plantation Management Trainee

A Palm Oil Plantation Management Trainee involves hands-on field training, technical learning, and exposure to all aspects of palm oil estate management, including agronomy, labor management and plantation administration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist to plan, execute and oversee operations and general management.
  • Assist in supervising daily operation, field maintenance and nursery management.
  • Assist in maintaining smooth administration in line with company procedures
  • Assist in co-ordinate and supervise work programs and workers.
  • Assist in ensuring that the operating units' documentations and submissions are sent timely.
  • Reporting to superior over non-compliances and reporting any relevant matters and issues.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports, forecast, yearly budget and ad-hoc reports.
  • Involved in meetings with suppliers, negotiations, and others stakeholder engagements.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Agricultural Science or equivalent.
  • Good presentation preparation and proposal paper writing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively and resourcefully, with a pleasant personality.
  • Able to work under pressure and capable to meet tight deadlines.
  • Physically fit and in good health.
  • Willingness to travel for work.
  • Possess own transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
