Training Coordinator for Hotel

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Coordination

  • Plan, organize, and schedule all in-house and external training sessions.
  • Maintain and update the hotel's annual training calendar and attendance records.
  • Liaise with Department Heads to identify training needs and support their departmental training plans.
  • Prepare and distribute training materials, handouts, and feedback forms.

2. Onboarding & Orientation

  • Conduct and coordinate new hire orientation and induction programs.
  • Ensure new employees complete all required onboarding and compliance training.
  • Maintain updated orientation materials and welcome kits.

3. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track training attendance, completion, and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate training database and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Prepare monthly training reports and highlight key achievements or gaps.

4. Administrative & Support Functions

  • Support Learning & Development or HR in employee engagement programs.
  • Manage logistics for all training activities (venue setup, materials, refreshments, attendance).
  • Coordinate external trainers and training vendors when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Background in the hotel industry is required.
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with AI tools for training, tracking, and content creation.
  • Strong communicator — fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken & written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a similar role within hospitality or training coordination.

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
