The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system design.
- Ensure all designs comply with project requirements, client expectations, and relevant regulations.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing practical on-site solutions.
- Ensure all electrical works adhere to established safety standards and codes.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems.
- Implement corrective measures to address any non-compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Prepare and present progress updates to the Engineering Manager.
- Support technical documentation, submissions, and approval processes.
- Research and evaluate new technologies, materials, and industry best practices.
- Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Participate actively in training sessions and professional development activities.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior when required.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within construction or industrial project environments.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, standards, and safety codes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Good command of English and Mandarin; working knowledge of Malay and Mandarin is preferred for communication with multilingual teams and vendors.
- Highly self-motivated, responsible, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup manufacturing environment.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license will be an added advantage.
Salary Range: RM4k-RM6k
Working Hours
5.5 days per week
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
