Key Responsibilities

  • Closely work with a team of business analyst and developers on getting requirement clarity to ensure best test scenarios/cases can be built.
  • Actively involved in development of test designs, plans, cases, and execution for various testing activities (QA/UAT/Operation Readiness Test).
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing on each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results.
  • Communicating, documenting, and maintaining product defect reports.
  • To provide estimates and feedback to the business analyst and development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and quality requirements.
  • To investigate potential defects and discuss them with the development team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or any other IT related field.
  • A minimum 1 year of experience working in similar roles is required.
  • Able to communicate and written in English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of QA tools, quality engineering practices and terminologies.
  • Proven experience of testing user interfaces, web-based software.
  • Proven test case design skills and track record of delivery.
  • Testing knowledge in front-end web application integration to back-end services via JSON/REST API.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under deadline.
  • Experience in automations and tools will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SQL/MYSQL will be an advantage.
