The Parentinc is the largest content, community, and commerce platform for parents in Southeast Asia, dedicated to helping parents have healthy pregnancies and raise healthy children and families. Our flagship brand, theAsianparent, offers relevant content, social networking, income opportunities, and access to curated products and services for parents. We also own Mama's Choice, a brand specializing in safe and natural products, and Motherswork, a premium retailer for mother and baby products. Our mission is to improve families' quality of life through technology.

Role Description:

We're looking for an entrepreneurial and growth-driven
Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR)
to lead a new e-commerce initiative in Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity to
build and run an online business from scratch,
with full P&L responsibility, backed by the reach and credibility of theAsianparent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the e-commerce project end-to-end: from idea validation to launch to scaling.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability, focusing on sustainable margins and ROI.
  • Plan and execute performance marketing campaigns to acquire and retain customers.
  • Build, manage, and optimise stores and campaigns across marketplaces and platforms, including TikTok Shop, Shopee, Amazon and Shopify.
  • Use data to identify trends, optimise funnels, and drive conversion.
  • Collaborate with content, tech, and creative teams to bring campaigns and product launches to life.
  • Build partnerships with brands and suppliers to expand and strengthen product offerings.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience launching, managing, or scaling an e-commerce business.
  • Strong background in
    performance marketing
    : paid social, SEM, affiliates, or influencer marketing.
  • Familiar with Malaysia's digital commerce landscape and platforms like Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, and Shopify.
  • Comfortable analysing data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Based in KL, fluent in English.
  • 3-10 years work experience.
