About the role

This full-time Account position at ingenium Advance Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Accounting and Bookkeeping team. As an Account, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and bookkeeping services for company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for company
  2. Preparing monthly financial statements and reports
  3. Handling accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and bill payments
  4. Reconciling bank statements and other accounts
  5. Providing support for tax preparation and filing
  6. Assisting with the implementation of accounting systems and processes
  7. Collaborating with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in a small practice or SME environment
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  4. Proficient in using accounting software such as SQL
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients
  6. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  7. Familiarity with Malaysian tax regulations and reporting requirements
