As an Accounts Executive, you will play a key role in managing the financial activities of our organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transactions, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations (i.e., SST), and internal policies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for business operations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to track financial performance against targets.
  • Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to support audits and statutory submissions.
  • Cost Control: Monitor expenses, identify variances, and recommend cost-saving initiatives where appropriate.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Able to start immediately or within short notice.
